Our 'Map Search' uses a Geographic Information System (GIS) to allow you to interact with modern maps of County Durham and the immediate surrounding areas. It is possible to pinpoint features on the map or search for features which are near to a particular postcode, town or street.
Try using one of the following find the information you require:
Search by Map (Opens a new browser window)
This method launches the 'mapping window'; an interactive system and allows you to browse and click on a map. You can load 'map layers' to find map based information on the location of services currently available. Zoom in and out and identify 'features' using the simple map tools.
Search by Location
Enter a postcode, town/street name or a road number to begin searching for services in your area.
Search by Service
Select a service from a drop down list to find out where on the map certain facilities are available.
Find My Nearest
Find out which services are nearest to a particular location by entering a postcode, town or street name to begin your search.
